Les Thorne creates a chucking point and shapes the outside of the bowl using pull and push cuts before cleaning up the finish.
Les Thorne works the finish with an arbitech saw before lightly burning the surface of the bowl and sanding off.
Les Thorne turns the inside of the bowl and then uses the arbitech saw and blowtorch to add the same finish as the outside of the bowl before spraying the finish with a lacquer.
Les Thorne sands down the rough edges before staining the bowl with some coloured spirits.
