Put the date in your diary so that you don’t miss out on one of the South West’s most exciting and oldest Woodworking Events, held at our premises in Martock, Somerset. We pride ourselves on hosting a show that appeals to the professional turner, to the hobbyist and to those who wish to see what beauty can be created out of wood by our talented demonstrators who include, Mark Hancock, Jason Smith, Mary Ashton, Les Thorne and Andy Rounthwaite to name a few. On the carving side we are pleased to welcome back Zoe Gertner. Following on from the success of our Masterclasses at our Spring Show, we will be holding them again, giving visitors the chance to sit in on demonstrations and talks from some of our top manufacturers such as Record Power, Charnwood and Triton.
We want everyone to appreciate the wonder of woodworking and for this reason our Show has free entry and parking, so come along and see for yourselves what we are so keen to promote. Visitors come from all around the country and from Europe and many book their holidays around our shows. We have in the region of 50 manufacturers who attend, including well - known names such as Record Power, Chestnut and Robert Sorby, all with show promotions and special offers.
Our timber selection is immense and better still we offer discounts on it over the two days, so don’t forget to stock up for the autumn. There have been some changes since the Spring Show. We have now taken the Café back under the Yandles umbrella and are lucky enough to be keeping most of the team who ran it before. We will be making a considerable investment to provide a new kitchen and more seating. Our Gallery has also had a revamp and has a lot of new and exciting gifts for those special people, whether it be family or friends. Don’t forget to visit the craft tent, where taster sessions will be held in a number of different crafts alongside demonstrations ranging from paper crafting to crochet.
