More about me:

Self Employed Builder /Chippy Enjoy Working with wood rather than the wet stuff !And just to add to it , I only live 5 min drive from Yandles
I left school with no GCSE's , well not worth mentioning ,  but enjoyed my design projects . I fell in to the building industry and stuck to that for nearly fifteen  years . All the way picking up site carpentry skills . About ten years ago I started playing with wood as a hobby . My first power tool for hobby work was a cheap 1/4" router from screwfix that resembles the trend T4 . About 4 years ago I decided to take the hobby a bit more seriously and developed my shed in to a workshop . I then started lurking on this site and picking up tips and ideas
. Since then I have been working with the power tools that I use for my work . I have started buying more tools/machines for the hobby . I am willing to give anything a go and make a real effort to do it well . I particularly enjoy working with "flat " projects but do enjoy a spot of wood turning too but struggle with imagination of turned items , so I leave that to my partner .
I have always wanted to run my own little joinery / workshop as a business as I feel my time as builder is coming to an end as I have am struggling with the 11 month long cold damp winters up to my knee's in mud . One day it will change . Have a look at my albums and see some of my work I have already done .
Cheers For reading this . Sam
