Hey,

Wondering if anyone can help as have been trying to find an answer on various woodworking sites to little avail. I have a Kapex saw and am replacing the blade - Festool one is way too expensive (over £100) so got on to my local tool shop who had three alternatives, a trend blade non stick coating approx £28, a trend blade with stick coating £30 and a freud blade with stick coating approx £60. All have 60 teeth and seem to have the same spec. Can anyone tell me why the freud is twice the price of the trend blade??

The tool supplier says most carpenters but the freud but couldnt explain why. Any ideas

Thanks

G
