Derek that’s a fine piece of turning, the bowl set into the pierced triangle, nice work.

Thank you Steven. I must admit it was fun turning and piercing this piece. It is American Black Walnut and measures 6" along each edge stand 1 3/8" tall the wings are 1/8" thick. I used a multi tool to do the piercing.

Thank you all. I must admit that the piercing did not take as long as i thought it would. Like many turners it is that transition from a nicely turned piece and putting the first hole or cutting it up to make an decorative or arty piece that is the worrying part of the learning curve of this hobby
