I have just finished this rocking car for a little girl. Made from ply and pieces from the scrap box for the smaller parts. I did make a mistake with it can you spot it(sorry no prizes )
This was made using no plans every thing was straight from my head, possibly not the best way to do a project like this but I did some research to make sure that it sat right and that when a child was using it that it rocks OK.
If I was to make another I would change the front as now it is painted it looks a bit flat.

Simply brilliant Derek! I'm sure your little fiend will be delighted. I am amazed that you did not need any plans for the little pink Cadillac . Really well done, congrats.

Great job Derek - well done. Not sure I can see the deliberate mistake though, and I'm even less sure I would mention it if I did cheeky

Is the painting a pro job, or DIY? Whichever, it looks great I think.

Thank you Ian and Simon this was a little bit of a challenge especially as I made it without plans. If you look at the door handles I managed to glue them on the wrong way round.

hi Derek

stop putting your self down about the mistake. I don't think any one would of seen that. the job you have done is defiantly first class.

Thank you all for the Great comments sorry for not replying earlier as my Router(computer) went down then when I received it my phone line developed a fault at first I thought it was me when i set up the new router but it turned out to be a broken wire at the exchange.

Dennis I was not putting myself down I pointed it out just for a bit of fun to see if you all could spot it. But I know what you mean I think we are all the biggest critics of our own work.

Excellent work on that awesome rocker and very impressive making it without plans. Cool design and pretty color. She's one lucky little girl.

That is really fantastic Derek! I love the way you have sculpted the body panels. It looks like a great copy of an MG midget. Brilliant.

Thank you Bruce and Mailee. The body is made in 4 separate pieces for ease of shaping, the two wings made and shaped after the centre section.
