I always seem to be doing small jobs like the dolls bed for a Great granddaughter and some name trains for great grandsons.
The bed is made from off cuts of pine headboards and the trains are made from some beech which I had machined down for another job I have already completed and the wheels from a piece of mahogany.
There is no finish on the train so they can be painted whatever colour they like

Excellent job Derek, in both cases
can you please tell me what fonts you used on both the bed and the train, they are just the style I have been looking for

Thank you both this seems to be what I am up to lately.
Dave the Font for the bed and the money boxes below is Monotype Corsiva which I found in Paint on the computer. The boxes are another lot that I have made as an order
I don't know what the font is for the train as it is from this set of plans
Here is a link to some more info for the train
Hope this helps

They are great projects and specially made for the little ones. I'm sure that the kids like them. They'll get lots of fun playing with them. Great job Derek!
