Brilliant job Derek - he's a lucky lad.

My grandson has asked if we could make an aeroplane when he next visits. No problem - shouldn't take more than a few minutes!!!!!!. Seriously though, I like to make (or at least, try to make) a simple kit of bits for things like this, that he can help Grampy put together. He has his own proper tools that he keps in the workshop, and really enjoyed making a hedgehog from an old log, some feet cut from felt and loads of nails bashed in with his hammer for the spines! Kept him quiet for ages. smiley.

Thank you all. I had great fun making this just made me wish I was a small lad again just to play with it, mind you I did sneak a quick play (test purposessmileywinkblush) before he picked it up.

It was a picture his face lit up with joy, makes it worth while just for that.
