I have picked up a 613 that used to belong to a woodwrking club. The blade guide isn't complete and I am looking for a workshop manual/parts list. Google has picked up a few very old links but nothing current. Can anyone help with a copy of a manual or a blade guide assembly from a 613?

Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve,

The best I can track down is here: **LINK**

That has a number of scans of Kity stuff, with the 613 manual included if you scroll to the bottom of that section.

They are zipped so you'll have to download and extract them - however, they are not very high resolution so the actual words can be tricky to make out if you magnify too highly, and the illustrations get very pixelised as well, but it may be of some use.

hope it helps.

cheers,

Andy

You will really need to get a new blade guide assembly. It’s going to be difficult to find 613 original parts today, so to go for aftermarket replacement parts is the best option. Try this site: **LINK**. They have different aftermarket replacement parts for different brands

Hi Julian,

yes indeed, that was me - haven't seen Les in a while so it was good to get a brief catch up with him!

cheers,

I bought a Kity 613 band saw about a year ago and I am very pleased with it. However, it has taken me a while to get hold of a copy of the user manual for it.
I have scanned the whole document and put it on a couple of photo sites in good enough resolution to make it worth downloading and printing out, for anyone who is interested. These machines are fairly simple and reasonably well made, though the company has gone out of business and the manuals are hard to find. If you want to view / download the manual please visit

or search "kity 613" on flickr or photobucket. For free.

Hi John

In future when adding a link can you attach it to a single word?

By adding the links in the way that you have, all it does is to spread all

threads right across the page and behind the adverts.

You can check bandsawparts.com, they have a lot of aftermarket replacement parts for almost all brands of band saws, made with high quality materials at affordable prices.
