Hi
It has been a while since i last posted any work!!! So i thought i would post one of my latest creations, it is made from Cocobola, and threaded. It measures 2 1/2" high. I hope you like it.

Lovely box Mark the colour is stunning. like the shape. Well done on the threading how did you find cocobola for threading.

Very nice indeed Mark.
It must be very taxing on the concentration cutting a thread so short up to a shoulder.

Threads do take concentration, but, practise, patience are a virtue.

I used to do screw cutting on a metal lathe many years ago, that's how I can appreciate the work involved, all synced in on a metal lathe of course.
 
Even more impressive seeing the lid on and the grain lined up.
