Thats a lovely pot - perfectly shaped and proportioned.
 
Just a suggestion though - I find my boxes better in use if I have the male side of the joint on the base. With the female side on the base there is the possibility of the contents fouling the joint and preventing closure. Would be better still if threaded I suppose but I have yet to try thread cutting.

Thanks for the reply's, Richard i take what you say onboard i myself have never tried cutting a thread maybe something to have a go at in the future.

I agree nice little box. I also put the join the same way as you Paul but will change that in future to how Richard has suggested.

All excellent work Paul, other half, ring holders and this one Lidded pot.
 
I had meant to ask what you had done with the "other half" when you posted the candle holder.

Hi Bill, the other half if you mean the wife she's still with me (only joking) i had to get that 1 in. production will slow down now back to work monday I been on the sick for 6 weeks after a knee operation.

Yes it was meant a a dual meaning Paul, I usually refer to mine as "The better half".
 
I do hope the knee heals fully and you have no recurrence of the problem.
