I am currently setting up a smallish workshop. I have just purchased an elektra beckum PKF 255 V8 panel saw with scoring blade and i am just about to buy an edge bander.

I am now trying to find a jig system for drill the cams in the MFC, can't really find any apart from the Hafele one.

Anyone got any ideas??

Plus whats the best way of trimming the edging?, prob using mostly PVC, ABS.

Cheers

I have never seen a jig for cam's and dowel's. We drill all of ours on a CNC, usually the centre of the cam hole is 34mm from the edge and you would need to drill 28mm into the edge with an 8mm lip and spur bit.

As for trimming the edging, our edge banders trim the edging once applied, but then our edging is 2mm thick plastic edging.
