Hi Jay

Sometimes it works out cheaper to buy a new machine with the price of new batteries so I dont blame you trying to get it repaired.

 2.6Ah Ni-MH 18V spare battery for £84.94 at Screwfix!!

Current bid £ 28.32 (21 hours to go)

You may find one on this site ►►here ◄◄

And one going for £27.55 ►► here ◄◄

I know you can get other new batteries which fit the main manufactorures, B&Q did some a while back.

Hope this helps

I`ve had batteries re-packed at County Battery before, so it might be worth a phone call, though admittedly not ni-mh.

The other place i`ve picked up cheapish batteries is e-bay.

Good luck.

Hi Jay

I have a now very old MAKITA 8412DW which is still in great order, but the batteries gave up a while back.  I looked around and found Excel Digital who seems to be the suppliers for most of the replacement battery sites. So I purchased a couple of 1201 batteries.  These are still going strong after a couple of years use, so definitely one to checkout.  They offer full 1 year warranty and 30 day return policy if you’re not happy with the shipped goods.

I could not workout your exact battery from the post, so here is the general link.
