Hi, it has been a while, but just thought i would share my latest creation

 
Predominantly made from boxwood, but have used cherry with boxwood inserts, and have also used Yew

Thread chasing is something I love doing - it's just so satisfying when one fits onto the other.

Hello again Mark,  The trick of using hardwood inserts on which to chase the threads is one I also use. It helps to combat the the problem of the box top going oval with the normal movement of the wood in time and also makes the chasing easier.I have one or two boxes made in the past which will not open for this reason.
