Hi all,

Is there an electronic index of articles that have appeared in GWW?

Thanks, in advance,

Hi Neil, Not yet I'm afraid but it is something we're aiming to get on this site in the future. Cheers, Ben

Does GWW mean "Get Woodworking" or "Good Woodworking"?

If the former, then there is a list on the home-page. If the latter, than surely that will be a massive undertaking?

Hi Mike,

To me, GWW is Good Woodworking.

From time to time they publish an index in the mag, so they must have it electronically somewhere. It would be very useful to have it on this site.

Mike, my answer assumes Neil is referring to Good Woodworking which is often referred to as GWW. This website is usually referred to as GW or Confusing I know but GWW is often used in the magazine editorial ~ you should give it a read sometime

The intention is to publish it Neil, along with an index for The Woodworker.

That would be good.

Hi Ben,
Please could I add my request for the Good Woodworking index as well.  With an index it adds so much value to our stored copies.  If I want to look up to see if you have covered, say, 'building casement window frames' in the last 5 years I do not really want to have to look thro' that meany mags to find out.

Hi David
I think it was printed in one of the issues but so far I haven't found it to give you the issue.
I do know the The Woodworker gave the 2009 index in issue January 2010 (volume 114, number 1)  page 93-96 with what was in each of the back issues for 2009 on page 92.
I'll keep looking.
