That is really beautiful Dennis, very well made mate.........

Your getting very good at this arnt you.

Make sure that gnome doesn't run off with the crutch otherwise you wont have a leg to stand on!

Looks good i like the complete band either side of the centre section, works well

thank you Marc

the vase took 6 hours to make. i hade to wate for the glue to set.that no more nails express is fantastic i glued the last row of segments and i turned the vase 45 Min's later.

Is that the same glue that came free with that woodworking mag (forgot the name just now) meant to be dry in 5 minutes.......I had used it on my segmented bowl, good stuff.

I dont know about free Marc !!

I paid nearly 5 quid for it, and its quite a small bottle, but well worth it as Dennis says,

Just keep it for the good stuff.

I paid £3.25 for the mag and got a bottle free.........my luck must of turned!

I dont mind really, i just bought 4 pieces of "Charicter" Elm 4" dia and 2" thick on ebay for just over £3 and the postage was only 2.50

hi dauid

there are 12 segments to eash ring and they are cut at 15 deg  on the chop saw.the size of each segment depends on the size of the ring you are doing.
