These bird houses are stunning, how long does it take to make one?
Also what sort of weight are they, they must take some putting up?

They never cease to amaze me, I think we would have to get planning permssion to put them up over here,(HA-HA) well at least Health and Safety would take an interest,
John Where do you get the inspiration and the designs from cary on the good work and keep us posted.

Thank you everyone for all the great comments .
Some of these larger houses take 2 or 3 weeks to build . Sometimes i will spend a year or two working on them .
I get a lot of my ideas as i go and also from looking at old buildings from the past . I really like the Victorian style a lot .
It takes me a week to build 10 of the smaller houses , they are almost 2 ft square and weigh 45 - 50 lbs each .
I also lot a lot of request now to build copies of peoples houses or cottages .
Most of the large houses weigh between 300 - 500 lbs each .
My neighbour has a fork lift so it was very easy to put them up .
I have some pictures here of birdhouses going up .

Those are not bird houses they look more like Avian Castles. Very nice.
