Excellent work Alan.  I think that I might prefer it with straight legs just rounded over on the outside corner but nonetheless a very good piece of functional work.

I think your right, its a few years since i made it, they were the firts things id ever turned and I was 14/15 years old. I got the design from a picture that was on the old getwoodworkingwebsite in about 2005. I estimated everything from the photo and since it was my first real piece of furniture the proportions are a little off, its a piece that close to my heart all the same.

I quite like this design, very old English cottage type.

This will last for years even if its used a lot.
Great work Alan, well done mate.

A very nice piece. I like the legs just as they are, but that is a personal taste. A good job we dont all like the same things.

Did you buy the plans from the Great British Woodshop, in the end?
