GetWoodworking.com has been moved to a new server which means better all round performance

The site was moved to the new server early this morning so you should notice a significant improvement in page load times as well as the site feeling a whole lot snappier to use.

If you encounter any problems then please get in touch by email: support@getwoodworking.com

Hi Ben

Yes it is a lot faster, all links too.

Sadly, I think a few subscribers will still say something about the back issues viewer.
Even though I have no serious problem with it. It opens, it goes to a searched pages with no problems, it takes about 5 seconds to come into focus when zoomed in, pages turn OK and it can print alright.

The ' View Thumbnails' option could do with being larger so you can see the pages to choose from but other than that, no problem.

Hi Marc,

The back issues are hosted elsewhere but I'll raise your questions to see if these can be improved too.

Thanks for that Ben, I know a few members will be happy knowing that.

I am pleased to see this, I nearly gave up on it over the weekend, I put the slow service and 'web site errors' to everyone being in front of thier computers because it was too cold to go in the shed

Ron

That was one of the problems, you can always tell when the kids are home from school too.

Glad you kept on trying

I had loads of problems trying to get on too and thought is was my computer problems......in a way, I'm glad it wasn't!

Regarding the picture George,
It wont work if the image has been uploaded small, it will work on larger images that have been reduced to fit the forum.

Hope that helps.
