Really nice plane, was it a gift?

Even though the plans come from a book, you still have made a great job making it and the others.
 

The Spalted Beech has certainly given this car character. 

The Mahogany and Lime go well together and I like the feel of motion to the box.
 
 
 
The book looks pretty old, almost a 70's feel to it. Is this right?
 

 Well done on all projects so far and I'll be looking for more from you too.
