I got 4 bits of timber 2 ash and 2 elm 300mm x 100mm sq and glue them togather and got them on to the lath then mark it all out were draws and beading will go .Then i turned the lid then turned each section out and put beading in and polished each section x 3 .Then put each section on the lath up side down and turned a rebate for bottoms .Then the bottom two i fixed ply bottoms in and cut in half and put a back on each drew had a small sq cut out in back for it to go round the center column that was fix it to base and under top section and a lazy Susie on the base. And a magnetic catch on each drew to hold it in .it was easier to make then tell you how i made it hope it make sense .I Enjoyed making it a different type of box.Alan

That's a great looking box you have made there Four Wheeler. At least you don't need to take out trays to get to the next level below

Hi all yes the drews just pull out then when you push them back the magnetic catch pulls them in to position round the centre colum. I think this could have been better i made this a long time ago and i am still learning  .Alan
