Nice piece of furniture Big Al. but will it help keep the room tidy
How is it fitted together so that it becomes easy to break down

The legs are permanently attached the shelf above them, then they push into sockets in the top of each shelf, minus the top. I will post a picture tonight.

As for keeping his room tidy, I would like to think that it will but I doubt it.

Hi Derek, hopefully this picture will show how it breaks down, I have only removed the top shelf as all of the shelves go together the same way.

I have made three pices using a similar idea, not sure they are to Al's standard.
 
On mine I trned the legs (uprights?) I turned the tenons and bored ahole in it so that each leg fitted inside the one below.I stuck the layers together with double sided tape so they had to line up. I drilled from the base up to half way through the top layer. assembly was a doddle.
 
This does leave you with a single piece of furniture though unlike Al's which appears to come apart
