Congratulations.  It looks good to me too.
 
What is at the working end?  Is it just flat, or domed or something else?  We are used to a masher that has holes for the mash to pass through as you pound the tatties.

The end is slightly domed, and made from sycamore, sorry i posted it the wrong way, new fangled computer, not got used to it yet!!, i entered 8 pieces into the competition.
