Hi Baz
Thanks mate.
I started the carving 1 1/2 weeks ago, I've had a few days off but finished last Friday.

First time really carving Oak and it was a shame the shakes where rotten. I had to carve a bit deeper than I wanted.

Wife's idea to stain the tree!

A smashing job yet again Marc!  Do you ever get a failure that we might have a look at - just to prove you're human!

That confused me at first - I thought it said "Wife's idea to strain the tea!".

Hi Richard
Thanks to you my friend.

If a failure appears when carving, I try to modify that carving and touch wood (pun intended), the only failure was an Otter in Oak................. second was my first carving of that frog..........third was the Great Tit (no comments thankyou!) forth was the........

Strain the tea! ..........I get confused when the wife says anything!
