Has any-one any idea where to obtain the plastic chisel guards from please?

I have some which came from Rutlands but they are very thin, just 3mm.

Hi Graham,

I dont know where you could get the plastic covers but I would suggest getting yourself a good quality leather chisel roll.

They give much better protection to the chisel and they are a lot harder to lose

Make your own from ply off cuts. Just cut a groove in the ply wide enough to take your chisel, and put a fillet in the ends.

why not cut the finger tips off the ends of a pair of leather gloves?
