There's a profound pleasure in making yur own tools, and I think, sadly, it's going to be one that's enjoyed by fewer and fewer woodworkers. I've made a few - mostly marking tools and clamps - but I've haven't yet tackled a plane. Might just be the inspiration I need! |

I wish I had the ability (perhaps I have) and patience (definitely haven't) to demonstrate this kind of talent and love of antiquity. I'll bet you used modern tools to make them though even if they weren't beautiful! |
