(Sound of slamming door followed by running feet and heavy breathing) "Phew," says Bottlewasher, for it is he. "I'm here! Did I miss the start? What's happened? Wow! What a fantastic colour you've painted this place - I really like it."

I usually just drink the floor sweepings that they put into tea bags, but Breakfast would be very nice, thank you. That Earl Grey gives me headache, though - just like overdoing the sanding sealer.

Hi Guys, looks like the making of a great site - i've been waiting for something like this - as a complete novice - its really helpful to be able to contact people, see how to do things & get help when you need it - great to see my name and article in this months magazine - on where to source timber - thanks again!

Hi wastemaster (is that some kind of extractor?) Nice of you to join us. It's an exciting time here on the site and we've got big plans for the future. I'm really keen to make this the best woodworkers resource on the web so feel free to leave any ideas you might have about the site under the 'feedback & suggestions' topic. See you around the site...

Hello all, just signed up. If you want to know more about, say, timber just ask away.
