Hello All,

newbie to this forum and to woodturning ( well a 45 year gap since messing about in woodwork class at school).

Recently purchased an old Myford Mystro as a starter into my retirement hobby and so far have managed to create a couple of decent pieces plus a load of woodshavings. Now Ive gone and broken the belt on the lathe, ordered replacement but looks like a total stripdown to replace the belt.

Are there any show stopping gotchas in taking the thing to bits and more importantly putting it back together.

Many thanks

Dave
