Hi all, a newbie here got a question on the Old elektra beckum hc260e thicknesser table. I bought this planner thicknesses with the sprocket on the thicknesses table missing at bottom missing, bought the parts for it and put them on. My only problem is it goes all way down and back up to 40mm ish and stops does not go any further. goes up and down no problem but won't go less that 40mm. tried cleaning in oiling it. the planner is spot less from rust when i got it. There is a chain tensioner at the bottom on this so have even tried that slack and then tried it tight and still no luck with getting less that 40mm. and suggestions would be great thanks very much.

Well after having a sleep in it. I striped the 4 threaded rods out of the planner and cleaned them out completely and not he whole thing works perfect smoother action up and down now.
