routing tunnel.jpgWe all know how to make mouldings by shaping the edge of a board and then cutting off, but when you can use all our old offcuts instead it is very handy.

You must first make a tunnel to fit the product, an opening in the centre to allow cutter entry and dust extraction, clamp to your router table against the fence in an appropriate position and then just push sticks of timber through to mould the edge, catch at exit or it will go to the end of the workshop.

Of course a new tunnel must be made for each relevant size of moulding, but the extent of choice is immense.making small mouldings.jpg

Great idea and stop the wood tipping if trying it without I should imagine
