On last winter my window started to make some unusual sound at the time of opening and closing. Now it becomes very hard to function it. I talked with one furnishing contractor and he is asking for a window trim for 36" by 36" can range from $45 to $140. Is this a right deal? For me, this amount is not affordable. For a frame to be installed he is asking more than $150. So, for 3 windows, it may cost more than $450. Do I need to go with this deal? I heard about the window and door replacement services in Edmonton, some of my friends signed a contract with this service center for similar renovation works. Please do share your experiences from such service centers, which will help me to choose a better option.
