Double Spring Pole Lathe [Part 4]

A few weeks ago I did some more work on my lathe, but I've only just got around to posting it due to work and study commitments. In this update I've finished the rocker arm mechanism, installed the foot peddle, and started on the headstock.

thanks, I am too. I'm glad of the opportunity to test it out the way I did, it meant that I was able to adjust my thinking regarding my own personal improvements to the design before going too far. I'm even considering at this point of not worrying about the springpoles themselves and just using the bungee hook straps since they worked so well during the test. It is a departure from my original intention, but I guess the folding upright support is also a major departure from the authenticity anyway, so why not!
