Having had the pleasure of seeing these back when you did them, I don't remember this one A great piece of carving. Did you use pyrography to add the highlights or was it paint

Hi Derek.

Nice to read you again mate. Hope your well.

Regarding the colouring, no not pyrography but wood stain for most of it and some water colour paints for the beak, eyes & mouth area...

Ive not long moved home and in the process of fitting my dry garage out with my old tools etc, I've noticed all my images have gone and sadly they are all on my computer which doesn't work anymore....I'll have to try and find another way to get them back up......

Chat more later mate. Thanks for your post.

Still busy after my move and it's been an eventful time..

Marc -- Good to see you back after such a long time. Hope things are ok with you, if I lived a bit closer I would offer to do some retrieval work on your old PC and get your data back. So long as the hard disk is ok it shouldn't be too difficult I am sure the grandchildren will be able to help you. Looking forward to more posts -- Julian

Hi Julian.

Thanks mate. Nice to hear from you.

Lots of things have changed in life and only now starting to settle down.

Thanks for your kind offer regarding my PC. I will get to sorting it out as I did build it in the first place, 100% of internet work is on iPad these days but will sort the images out, just not now.

I'm only starting to sort garage out after the move but body wants more rests these days, tablets knock me out most other times! LOL

I'll be popping in and out of here to catch up on all you guys work, so much done in my absence...

Cheers for now.
