A quick question, is it OK to use Danish oil on a chopping board. A few people I've spoken to say that it shouldn't be used where food stuffs are involved.

No I wouldn't use it on a chopping board and to be honest I have only used an orange oil once many years ago and don't put anything on a chopping board these days.
