Will we ever see the International woodworking exhibition at Ally pally again.

This used to be such a good show, I have been countless times and a most enjoyable day it was, always came home with a purchase or two.

Derek.

I hope so Derek as there is nothing down this end of the country.

Same here Derek, Newark is the nearest for me, and a long way for you too.

Ron,

it was not so much the distance as the venue, it took us almost 3 hours by train to get there,

having been to the shows at NEC and South Midlands showground, i was not impressed, the layout

at Ally Pally was great, but Oh! that hill, a £5 taxi from the station shared with others, if possible,

was our answer. I won't forget my best buy, a door set of router cutters, my, did I make some Oak

Doors with that little lot, they looked so damned good too.

Derek.
