I like them all Robbie The bandsawn boxes are great fun to make I especially like the one with the different layers of wood.

I also like the vase you have done a great job on the segmented part of it looks nice and tight joins, how big is it

the vase is 350x100mm itis laburnam and i managed to keep some of the sap wood in it does make a differance

the segmented work was walnut and ash

Nice boxes Robbie the contrasts work nicely, but I am particularly taken by your vase, it's so narrow for the height did you hollow out in sections?

What a marvelous vase! All the stuff look wonderful! You got talent, man! As I understand that vase could be used for artificial flowers, am I right? Do you sell this beauty?

hi steven and alan sorry for not replying sooner been on holiday steven yes bottom half first added the fancy bits turned that then turned and hollowed the top glueed it to the bottomhalf put it back on the lathe and sanded and polished to a glossy finish it is an even 8mmthick

alan you can use it for artificial or cut flowers i treated it with three coats of yacht varnish followed by osmo floor sealer on the inside

no alan this is not for sale but if you would like one similar pm denis wake he is a member on the forum and may do you one i am only a hobbist and a once a year table top man
