Shared spaces

Does anyone have any experience of sharing a workspace? A friend of mine is looking for somewhere down this way (Brighton) and it's looking like sharing may have to be the way forward. I know that there's a lot of luck involved, but I'd be bald to hear of any experiences or suggestions that might make deciding a bit easier. MC

That’s always going to be a tricky one Mark, who does what, what belongs to who and what do we share, tools and machinery I’d be especially cautious about sharing! That’s not so helpful I know but people do share workspaces so presumably it can and does work.

I would always be wary of who would have access to the workplace and if they would use machinery without permission. Also how secure will hand tools be as these can be expensive.
