Having struggled a bit with my 1/2" Erbauer router I thought it would be a good idea to get a table for it but having bought one from Axminster tools I'm at a bit of a loss how to mount the router to the new plastic baseplate and sort the start switch ? I don't see a way of locking the switch. Do I need to rewire it somehow?

Any help appreciated.

You will probably have to drill the new base plate so as to be able to attach it to the router, take the existing one off and use it as a template, as for the switch If it wont lock on then 'rewiring' consists of a cable tie to hold the switch in the 'on' position, if you do this then get a NVR switch which will accept the three pin plug.

Hi David, I have two Erbauer 1/2" routers and the one attached to the table is exactly as Ron describes, cable tie and NVR switch. Julian
