Thread: adds on sight

On a couple of occasions i had that problem. Earlier this week i had the opposite experience. Everything to the left of the right edge of my avatar (hope that makes sense)
was not visible.
Full scans (3hours plus) reveled no problems.
Sorry Tommy i cant be more help.

Thread: Going Down?

Hi all,
Could a survey be organised in early 2010 (as these take time and money to organise and Christmas is near also). This survey covering satisfaction with present content  of both magazines and this forum and suggestions for improvements to same. this survey to be in the magazines  and the newsletter. With a view to getting back  lapsed members, holding on to what we have and getting new members.

PS.. To Christoff,
Baz put it much better than i could. I would encourage you to stick with the forum.
A friendlier or more helpful bunch you won't find. IT WILL BE WORTH IT IN THE END!

I have to agree with everything you said. I had hoped it was down to  summer fall off due to holidays, weather and summer related commitments. Alas i was wrong.
Baz wrote what i had suspected but could not prove. The elephant in the room, or should i say the elephants no longer in the room. I have noticed a distinct lack of enthusiasm which extends even to the magazines themselves. When did we read popsts enthusing about articles in the newly arrived magazine?
Like Thomas i have noticed the emergance of suscribers only material which is designed to encourage new suscriptions but could alienate some new members.
Marc's involvement in and enthusiam for and to the site is well above and beyond the call of duty. As the  R E M song says....pushing an elephant up the stairs.
Hopefully someone somewhere will take action before it is too late.

Thread: How to fit parquet flooring
19/08/2009 20:24:33
If you  have any makers  labels or instructions see do they recomend particular adhesives.. When you solve that i would  find the center of the room and thusget 4 quarters and mark and follow thos  lines as you lay them one quarter at a time. leave any that have to be cut til later.
Hope this  helps.

Welcome Rop,
I am not sure exactly  what it is or how to describe it but i think it is a nod to the modern communication media Twitter, Facebook and the like.
I other words not that important. A word or description to suit yopu at any given time.
Marc (sparky) the Moderator would be the person to explain it better.
