Thread: missing free gift

Hi, recently renewed my subscription to Good Woodworking by phone and was told there were no free gifts. Surprised to see you are giving away Bosch bits.

What happened to me?

Though you don't have to bribe me. I love your mags, just read the last one for the tenth time.

Hi all, I intend to make a coffe table where the top can be lifted up so that I can store items in the base. There will be a two inch lip all round and I do not want conventional hinges.I would like the top to swing up clear of the base.I know its a cheek but can anyone advise on the type of hinge available or even how to do this.
