Went out for a run in the car Sunday and called into a craft centre and they had a bowl of ring holders for sale at £4.00 each made out of Yew so here is my copy.

May i add i copied the idea from Sue Harker in the August issue page 34 five supported vessels, Not Nick Arnull's on page 8.

Hi Simon, No i dont mind constructive criticism that's how we learn and improve on what we do.When i was glueing up i did not think about the grain well spotted and a trained eye, Just looking at it now and thinking bloody hell but i wont make that mistake again.

We had the honour of professional wood turner Chris Eagles at our recent club day and got to say what a gentleman. one of his speciality is boxes so here are two of mine. and a bowl

thanks for some sound information simon as you say you only got one set off lungs, Its the dust that is the problem the chipping's i have been using a henry hoover to clean up with.

Thanks for your comments Simon Im not sure what wood the vases where turned from perhaps someone will come along and say. I have been turning for 6 months now started in my xmas holidays and like everyone else just got hooked on a wonderful hobby.
