|My email address is in my account - Thanks Derek
Still not had anything though
I've just checked "my details" and I have checked the send me the newsletter by email button but.... nowhere is there a box for me to tell you what my email address is
Could this be why I've not received one?
I've not received anything yet. Looking forward to seeing it though.
Thread: Alan Preston's Workshop
Hi I have a theory that any man who has a clean and tidy workshop has a wife/partner who cleans up after them
That's me living dangerously again though!
I wish I could learn to be a bit tidier.
Thread: Cheap and nasty workbench
If you think this is cheap and nasty you should see mine!!!
I think it's great
Thread: Hello everyone, I'm Lindsay!
Hi Lindsay - welcome.
As well as magazines there are loads of good introductory books that might help. There is Collins complete woodworkers manual (£21 on amazon) and collins woodworking for beginners (from 3.70 on amazon)
You would find any of the woodworking mags useful - Good Woodworkiong, The Woodworker and the one from the competition (Woodworking plans and projects but I didnlt meantion it on here!
Then you can always ask us lot as well

Fabulous piece of work
Thread: Another Yew Clock.
Richard has it spot on about the price you got - an absolute steal. It's a shame that people aren't prepared to pay for the quality, skill and craftsmanship.
Well done again. I've sent you a PM about the pewter - I'm hoping to have a go next week and will take some pics so expect another "how to" sometime in the next millenia!
This is a very impressive piece of work. I confess it's a little too ornate for my taste but i admire your skill and patience.
Have you done anything with the pewter yet? I'm planning to have a go next week if time permits.
Thread: Good Buys
Obviously you guys are getting touch with your feminine side - like buying things that don't fit because they're a bargain!
Cheers Dave (living dangerously)
Thread: Teddy bear on a Motorbike

Thread: centre steady
I'd start at the tailstock end and then use my hand to keep it from oscillating.
Thread: Derek`s pen
I love it as well
My box is checked but I can;t remember that far back. When is the next one due?
By the way i have my subscriber number in my profile but I can't access the "back issues"

Great pieces Tony. I think they will be well received.
Thread: Ralph's Limed Oak Lidded Goblet
Great piece of work again Ralph - I can only echo the words of others.
Thread: ralph's segmented bowl
I admire your patience! Very nice piece.
Thread: Is it only me,
I had a prob;lem adding photos to my album. It all looked Ok then it didn't work. It turned out it was the way I named the photos. Now I avoid things like spaces and underscores and all is well.
