Thanks guys,the height wouldnt be a problem as Im six two and find standard height slightly too low.
Andy is the noise due to a brush motor?

Thanks Sam, really impressed with that one but think it is above my skill level at the moment also have two to make so Dereks method of construction would be easier to reproduce but thanks very much for the offer.

Ruby is one month old now and is due to have a cousin in march so Ive got a little bit of time to make them both one lol but yes I agree what a nice job Derek made,I bet hes top Grandad.And also like to thank you for your help what a great site for like minded people.

Many thanks for the reply the picture is similar to what I had in mind the plans are for scale more than anything,all I have to do now is work out how to ask, nicely of coarse.

I have seen for sale a Motorbike which uses a spine type frame construction that  the ancillarys attatch to .All the plans I have looked at seem to be of the American Harley type which I am not a great lover of weather made of wood or the real thing.Having just become a grandad I thought it would be good fun to try my hand at making a rocking motorbike as I am assured the Baby (Ruby June) will be a Biker Chick.Anyone got any Ideas for Plans please?

Does anyone have any experience of the Axminster AWEPT 106,am interested in the quality and any sortfalls it may have .Is it straight forward to set up?
I am a hobby user but want the best I can afford.Is it as good as its branded cousins.Any comments welcomed.Many thanks.
