try burnishing it of with burnishing cream. or the other way is to add the friction polish as the lathe is turned by hand and not using the motor. then polish it of.

We I haven't been on hear for some time so thought I would post my latest turned bowl I was asked for a natural edge pedestal bowl from a friend so hear is the finished bowl.

thank you for your comments. as for the purpose it is large enough to have as either a art piece or you can use it for a fruit bowl.

still turning for HMS Trincomalee the oldest floating war ship in the world. the uneven ness of the square is wear the nails were removed due to being unsafe to turn with them in the timber.
