Hi Simon
Great 'how to' mate, thank you and well done.
Regarding the lost post, you can only write so much in one comment area and have to do another post to write the rest........this is because not to overload one comment area with one post.....(to much scrolling down until you see other comments) .

Hi Graham and welcome to the forum
I've only got a felt roof and its helped immensely with the cold, I also covered it with 3mm ply which keeps everything in place. Marked the beams and screwed 3x12x1" batons and fixed my clamps to it, keeps them handy and out of the way.

I do hope Ron you were jesting too.....Richard's mobile comment just goes to show why English is the hardest language to learn if your not speaking it.........many languages have single words for an action or item but, as you've seen, the word 'Mobile' has many...
To answer Steve's question..........No! LOL
I think in the coming years that more phones will be able to adapt with a scroll section to view a whole page and zoom in.......I doubt this site will never reduce its pages without having advertising on can, of course, turn your ad blocker on which will leave all advertising boxes blank......Virgin media security does it as well as many others.
Or you can all buy a laptop!

Thread: Paint for plane restoration
12/12/2010 18:22:49
Hi Fran and welcome to this site's forum
Have you got any model makers shops around your location?......model planes/boats......if so, you should be able to get model makers enamel paints in various colours......
When I restored my plane I painted it with the enamel and its still in great order now.......if your plane is that old, try a couple of  coats on it..........another paint you can use is metal paint.......►► Hammerite paint ◄◄
Good luck and upload some images of your progress.........always nice to see restoration on woodworking tools

Hi Peter and welcome to this site's forum
Even though you say your location is England, you may find more responses if you fill in your profile and to give a better 'rough' location and them 'maybe' you may have a member who lives close to you who can offer some details to you.
All the best
