Sounds good Steve. It will be interesting to see how cheap their tools will be and having at least 3 year warranties their quality should be good 'and' if it brings some other company prices down. BUT, I do know that good quality tools must have high prices.....shame though.

Hi Steve

Many thanks for the info, I did try to search for a local clubs but to no avail..............even the colleges have stopped their classes

I had bought some wood turning DVDs from eBay (Turning boxes by Richard Raffan & Beyond the basic bowl by Bill Grumbine)....there OK but I need to save for some decent turning tools as my cheapies have almost been ground to the knuckles and there not long enough!...Its one of those things that is first on the list in the new year.

Regarding the smileys........My collection over the years on imageShack

I've been a fan for some years now and I do enjoy the way he comes across to the viewer. I've just recently bought his plan/DVD for the deluxe router but found it would cost to much to make (£200) I knocked one up from scrap wood that I had until the reddies are a bit better.

I would also love to see his new series if its possible and thankyou for the offer.

Now that Bench Drill at £34.99 sounds just right for me......I wonder if it can take a Mortise chisel attachment too??

It would be great to go to one but there is nothing around my area

I'm just learning as I go and getting slightly better but, still a very long way to go...

Keep on turning, there great

You've done excellently for as beginner. I've only just taken up the hobby of turning and I'm no where near in making anything deeper than 4 inches!

Well done
