Hi Derek, the original plans were in inches and was 18.5 by 14. I reduced it to 320mm wide by 320 tall although it does not look like it from the photos. The hard bit was getting the sliding base to run freely. Dovetails were all machined.

Mailee, it is lined with a sort of sticky back suede stuff, just peel off the back and apply

just finished the jewelry box I have been working on this morning. Plans from New Yankee Workshop were for a huge box so I had to reduce it quite a bit. Hope to give it to my niece for her birthday. p1010917.jpg

I meant to say that I'm very pleased to find out that you are human after all! You do have the odd wee slip up! I'm glad you were able to fix it up ok. I guess that about 50 percent of my builds are little mistakes but they turn out ok in the end. Cheers. Ian
