This looks beautiful, thanks for sharing the pictures.
Thread: At The Going Down Of The Sun
This is a marvellous piece of work, congratulations, and a fine tribute as we come to the 100th anniversary of the end of the Great War. The artwork is first class, . and the whole thing done in a week . Thank you for showing it to us all.
Thread: Digger, Loader.
This is the sort of thing that makes me wish I was any good at woodworking, I can imagine my young grandson being wide eyed at such a digger. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Thread: image uploading
Actually you can post photos in from places like Photobucket using the URL and placing it in your post using the dialog box from the Image icon in the toolbar. You need to post the URL in both the Info and Link tabs of the dialog box and then reset the Size of the image to about 350pixels wide or it can blow-out the whole post. It takes a while to explain it in step by step detail but it actually is about as quick as posting a picture from an album you create here.
The advantage of using the albums here on site is that the images will remain in the post. If the photobucket hosting is changed or deleted, the picture disappears from here.
Thank you Derek, and wishing the same for you too, for a Happy and Healthy Christmas and New Year.
Thread: Downloading problem
I have passed you query on to the subscriptions team who look after the technical aspects and will come back with a reply for you.
Hope that will help
When you are logged in, just click on Win! in the menu and you can click on the current competition, which is the Record Planer at the moment and there you find the entry form.
Hope that helps
Sorry about that. You should find it is all sorted now.
Thread: GWW Index
I don't know the answer I'm afraid but will follow up and come back to you when I can.
Thread: How many characters?
Difficult to say what caused that problem but sometimes it can be to do with Word itself. Without getting over detailed, there can be all sorts of hidden codes (usually formatting) which might be causing the problem, though I can't be certain that is the issue. While there is a limit to the number of characters (I can't recall the number at the moment) then 1400 or so should not be a problem. What I'd suggest is that you paste the text into a basic word processor tool such as Notepad and then copy and paste from there, that should work for you.
Hope that helps but do let us know if it continues to be a problem.

That is an unusual and lovely looking bowl.
Thread: Half track
Your M3 looks a real treat. I am a military vehicle fan though not a woodworker and this looks marvellous. Can I ask how you went about the curved front mudguards?
Thread: 35y falklands rememberance plate.
Though not a woodworker myself (I do 'back room' admin for this site), this is a lovely thing to have done, and it looks excellent. It brings back memories for me not only because my eldest son was born the week of the invasion, but also as my own uncle was involved, the governor, Sir Rex Hunt along with my aunt, Lady Mavis.
