    New Turners Retreat catalogue

    Turners Retreat catalogue
Turners Retreat have issued their new mail order catalogue. As ever this 88-page edition is crammed full of tools and accessories for the avid woodworker.

Amongst the new items this year is the collection of Elite pen kits, featuring a stylish fountain pen, and an elegant rollerball in three different styles. These come with a Rhodium plating which is guaranteed to last a life-time and is to be found in many of the world's most luxurious pens. The nibs of the fountain pens are produced of high quality iridium.

Another nice touch this year is the addition of pen blanks of prairie rattlesnake. Each one is unique in design giving each pen a very distinctive appeal.

Also new to Turners Retreat is the range of wood finishes from American supplier, General Finishes. This includes both milk paint and wood stains.

The catalogue also features the new and advanced T7 wet grinder from Tormek in Sweden. This is an up-grade of an established top seller new for 2007.

Other new products include D4R dovetail jig from Leigh, the all-British Patriot chuck from Robert Sorby and 780 Microclene air filter along with a range of machines from Charnwood.

The full-colour catalogue is an excellent source of tools and equipment not just for the turner but also the carver, cabinet-maker and more general woodworker.
