With Panasonic's new Li-Ion 14.4V Multi-Impact and Drill Driver EY7542 you get two professional power tools in one lightweight unit. Panasonic's multi-function design allows you to switch from Drill Driver to Impact mode to suit the job in hand and provides the perfect tool for the busy trade professional, from building contractors to plumbers and electricians. Highly versatile, the EY7542 is the latest addition to Panasonic's Revolithium cordless power tool range with new generation Cobalt-Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery technology for longer lasting power and cool running, even for heavy duty applications, plus extended battery life.
Panasonic's 14.4V Multi-Impact and Drill Driver is easy to use - simply select Drill Driver or Impact Driver mode by sliding a switch on top of the tool. Impact mode produces a torque of 140Nm, enabling easy mounting of screw anchors up to 7.5mm or metric bolted connections up to 10mm. This mode also features variable speed control and Panasonic's impact mechanism to give you high power with less kick back. Drill and Driver mode offers 21 settings with clutch function and is ideal for setting screws or drilling holes in softer materials such as wood. Standard operation in this mode is up to
4.4Nm. If the job demands more power, just choose the drill setting for up to 14Nm. This versatile tool can also accommodate wood and metal drill bits in the lockable chuck.
Panasonic's new 14.4V Multi Impact and Drill Driver runs on one high capacity 3.0Ah Li-Ion battery. It is supplied as standard with an extra battery pack so you can keep working, and 'flat' batteries can be charged and ready to use again within 50 minutes.
Panasonic's growing range of Revolithium cordless power tools combine the latest Li-Ion battery technology with 'Panasonic Solid Solution' (PSS) technology for improved safety, reliability and increased output power compared with Ni-MH and Ni-Cd alternatives. Revolithium batteries are smaller and lighter and require no refresh charging because there is no memory effect. In addition, each battery cell is monitored individually to prevent damage from over-charging, over-discharging and over-heating. As a further safety precaution, power to the motor cuts off automatically before battery voltage falls too low or the temperature rises too high.
